What is the
Catch?
There
is
no catch. Mr. Michael Drange, the author of the book
understands your plight.
"When I began teaching music in 1994, I
had 400 students rotating through my class. I had no budget to speak
of, and no materials. I began writing a recorder book so I could make
photocopies legally. There was no way I could purchase books for every
child. Over the years the book has grown into "Classroom Recorder
Basics." I'm offering site licenses to all purchasers,
because we need to keep music education alive, especially in the face
of NCLB."
What is
included?
You
will
receive a PDF copy of the book delivered via email. You can print
the pages you need and copy them as often as you need. The book does
not include
music theory and does not address new concepts as they unfold. For
example, when the half note is introduced, there is no explanation.
This method is used in order to give teachers great flexibility in the
presentation of the material. A fingering chart for all the notes used
is included in the back of the
book. The goal of the book is to
systematically present written examples of exercises and songs for
students to perform in the most cost effective manner.
